Manfred Siöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Täman, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Akavir's Uno Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Uno Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Siöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Kjell Qvarnström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdemar Spetz made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Kjell Qvarnström sent off a good shot on target. Uno Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Manfred Siöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Niklas Täman made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lillhärdal FK's Manfred Siöberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 37 minutes, Uno Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akavir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uno Berggren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Täman in the 40th minute of the match. Uno Berggren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfred Siöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Niklas Täman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Siöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uno Berggren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manfred Siöberg having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uno Berggren made a kick off. Uno Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Siöberg having to interfere. Niklas Täman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Akavir's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Jonasson came free, but Valdemar Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Niklas Täman came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Akavir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Täman couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Lillhärdal FK got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Brummer. Akavir's Uno Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Stabbe hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Valdemar Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Niklas Täman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lillhärdal FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Uno Berggren 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Boris Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Spetz having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Akavir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. If Kjell Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uno Berggren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manfred Siöberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Uno Berggren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 96th minute.
