Holmsveden's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute Philip Arenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Clementsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BK Skjutet's Stefan Jakobsson got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sonny Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Olof Clementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sonny Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Clementsson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Holmsveden's zone, Bengt-Arne Tidén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olof Clementsson came out of the goal and Bengt-Arne Tidén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olof Clementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Jakobsson in the 32nd minute of play. When BK Skjutet's Stefan Jakobsson in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holmsveden's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the game, BK Skjutet's Sven-Erik Beckström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olof Clementsson came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by BK Skjutet's Sonny Johnsson. But to his dismay, Sonny Johnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 46 minutes into the match, Sonny Johnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olof Clementsson. Holmsveden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Johnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Sigman was the one to do the kick off. Olof Clementsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Östlund in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Stefan Jakobsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Olof Clementsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Jakobsson in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olof Clementsson saved Holmsveden from getting behind. If Stefan Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Stefan Jakobsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olof Clementsson was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 66 minutes into the game, Stefan Jakobsson lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Olof Clementsson. In the 70th minute of the match, Stefan Jakobsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olof Clementsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Brian Flinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Holmsveden's Olof Clementsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Jakobsson in the 73rd minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holmsveden's goalkeeper Olof Clementsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olof Clementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Arenberg in the 86th minute of play. Stefan Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded BK Skjutet left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Holmsveden.
