Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tord Jönsson got the match started through his kick off. After 5 played minutes Sörsjön got a freekick which was hit by Robert Strömberg. After a rather tough play, Sörsjön's Knut Uter got a free kick in the 8th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Wållander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grytgöl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sörsjön the free kick. In the 21st minute, Tord Jönsson made a precise shot to the right of Ola Åman. Sörsjön's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ola Åman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Jönsson in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes Sörsjön's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernt Kleen who took care of the corner kick. Grytgöl's Bernt Kleen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ola Åman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Grytgöl booed when Sörsjön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Uter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tord Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Åman having to interfere. Lars Runeberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ola Åman made a huge save. Ola Åman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Jönsson in the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sörsjön's Ola Åman got control of the ball when Tobias Algren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ola Åman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Lars Runeberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ola Åman. Sörsjön's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Runeberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Grytgöl's Tord Jönsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ola Åman. That made the score 0-3 after 78 minutes of play. Lars Runeberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ola Åman made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Sörsjön's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Jönsson came free, but Ola Åman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Jönsson in the 96th minute of play forced Sörsjön's goalkeeper Ola Åman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Sörsjön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Uter to maneuver through the defense. Grytgöl's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
