The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Blomkvist got free with Ivan Bergfelt in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Bradmaister FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 66 minutes into the match, Bradmaister FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Åström came free, but Pontus Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ture Lilja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Dick Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oxie BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dick Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78thth minute of the game Bengt Östensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oxie BK's Ivan Bergfelt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th play minute Ulf Nyström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivan Bergfelt. 0-7. Ivan Bergfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Östensson in the 85th minute of the match. When Dick Åström came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Oxie BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dick Åström couldn't finish the play. Bengt Östensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Bergfelt having to interfere.
