After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Rickard Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hjärup FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Glad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt Östensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urban Galle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pontus Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Glad having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Rickard Danielsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hjärup FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ulf Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bradmaister FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Nyström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjärup FF's Olov Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Blomkvist in the 44th minute of play. Ulrik Henriksson made a great header on Bradmaister FC's corner, it was just that Hjärup FF's Olov Ekegren managed to reach the ball for a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt Östensson was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hjärup FF's zone, Ulf Nyström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Ekegren came out of the goal and Ulf Nyström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulf Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Olov Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Ulf Nyström made a precise shot to the right of Olov Ekegren. Hjärup FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Olov Ekegren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Blomkvist in the 64th minute. Bengt Östensson struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Olov Ekegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bradmaister FC. Olov Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Östensson in the 69th minute of play. If Douglas Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Gunnar Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hjärup FF's zone, Ulf Nyström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Ekegren came out of the goal and Ulf Nyström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hjärup FF's Olov Ekegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Hjärup FF from getting a goal against them. Ulf Nyström hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Bengt Östensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Olov Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf Nyström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Olov Ekegren made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Danielsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Bradmaister FC's goalkeeper Pontus Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ulf Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
