Spectators: 7153 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Egon Åkesson made the kick off which started today's match. When Philip Malmgren came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Länghem FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Malmgren couldn't finish the play. Egon Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Joakim Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Länghem FK's Frans Hermansson tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joakim Holm was a little too slow when Philip Malmgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 18th minute, Andreas Hybbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Saltsjöbaden's goalkeeper Joakim Holm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Alén. Jan-Olof Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Johnsson having to interfere. Philip Malmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Malmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Länghem FK got a freekick which was hit by Philip Malmgren. In the 29th minute of the match Agne Wikander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gösta Johnsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Ingvar Alén recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joakim Holm. Ingvar Alén showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Fristedt in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Johnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ingvar Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Lindmark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 played minutes Länghem FK got a freekick which was hit by Reine Back. If Gunnar Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Fristedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gösta Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Fristedt in the 52nd minute of play. Gunnar Fristedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Johnsson having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Egon Åkesson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Saltsjöbaden's Joakim Holm. Joakim Holm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aaron Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Länghem FK's Ingvar Alén got a free kick in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Saltsjöbaden's Jan-Olof Lindmark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gösta Johnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Gunnar Fristedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Länghem FK's Gösta Johnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Saltsjöbaden booed when Länghem FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Malmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gösta Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Saltsjöbaden booed when Länghem FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gösta Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Fristedt in the 91st minute of play. Jan-Olof Lindmark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Saltsjöbaden players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Länghem FK.
