The supporters of Torparcanons IF booed when Öxabäck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Pedersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Holmgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Christer Nordin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Kim Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Pedersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Christian Vall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torparcanons IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Öxabäck the free kick. Christian Vall hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th match minute, Torparcanons IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Lindblom to maneuver through the defense. Birger Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Hjortberg in the 39th minute of the match. David Mikaelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Olsson having to interfere. If Stig-Arne Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Michael Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Nordin having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Holmgren made a kick off. Olov Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olov Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ted Söderlund charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ted Söderlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olov Holmgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Nordin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Olov Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Ekström got free with Birger Olsson in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Olov Holmgren came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Torparcanons IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Holmgren couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Olov Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torparcanons IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Olov Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Nordin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christer Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Olov Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Nordin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Mikaelsson in the 86th minute of play forced Torparcanons IF's goalkeeper Birger Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Nordin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Holmgren went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, Öxabäck's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Holmgren came free, but Christer Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Olov Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Christer Nordin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Torparcanons IF had played much better football throughout.
