Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Ingvar Lundin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Ingvar Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Lång saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morgan Klint scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olle Hasselqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hönö BK's Olle Hasselqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Glanselius in the 7th minute of play. Olle Hasselqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morgan Klint went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Rikard Glanselius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruda BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rikard Glanselius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olle Hasselqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ruda BF's Roy Sundberg got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Bernt Vennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Ruda BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Olsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Olof Pålsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Lång skillfully saved the ball. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ruda BF! When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Hönö BK's Olof Pålsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arne Lång. When Gustav Tolsson fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hönö BK's protests and gave Gustav Tolsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Hönö BK got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Tolsson. Morgan Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hönö BK's Olle Hasselqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Glanselius in the 37th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Roy Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rikard Glanselius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reine Kjellqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Morgan Klint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Hasselqvist having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Rikard Glanselius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olle Hasselqvist. The goal made the score 1-4. Arne Lång took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rikard Glanselius might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olle Hasselqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rikard Glanselius ran back to his position shaking his head. Hönö BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Rikard Glanselius scored to the left of an out of position Olle Hasselqvist, making the score, 1-5. Morgan Klint recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Ingvar Lundin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Arne Lång was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Ruda BF's zone, Ingvar Lundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Lång came out of the goal and Ingvar Lundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, Ruda BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Arne Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Kjell Olsson's late challenge caught a Hönö BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Olsson helped the player get up and apologised. Kjell Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Arne Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Morgan Klint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Hasselqvist having to interfere. Ruda BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
