Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 100) Ruda BF's Rikard Glanselius started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17th minute, Roy Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match Rune Hjortberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Lång showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Morgan Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Christer Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Öxabäck's Christer Nordin got control of the ball when Morgan Klint tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 played minutes Öxabäck got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Pedersson. If Rikard Glanselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Ruda BF got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Glanselius. Arne Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Rikard Glanselius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Mikaelsson made a kick off. If Stig-Arne Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Öxabäck's goalkeeper Christer Nordin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Douglas Pedersson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Douglas Pedersson charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Pedersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rikard Glanselius struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Christer Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruda BF. Stig-Arne Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Arne Lång tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roy Sundberg fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruda BF's protests and gave Roy Sundberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ruda BF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Roy Sundberg hit a great ball. Rune Hjortberg, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Ruda BF's Arne Lång got control of the ball when Stig-Arne Ekström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Mikaelsson in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Lång prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
