Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ingvar Lundin made the kick off which started today's match. Hönö BK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when David Mikaelsson 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Ingvar Lundin took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christer Nordin. Christer Nordin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 16th minute, Ingvar Lundin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hönö BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Öxabäck booed when Hönö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Billock didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olof Pålsson during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Hönö BK got a freekick which was hit by Olof Pålsson. 22 minutes into the match, Öxabäck's Rune Hjortberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Öxabäck's Börje Dahlberg got a free kick in the 35th minute. Olof Pålsson, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Öxabäck's Christer Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Lundin in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Öxabäck's zone, Bernt Vennersten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Nordin came out of the goal and Bernt Vennersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Vennersten got free with Christer Nordin in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Mikaelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Öxabäck's Börje Dahlberg got a free kick in the 67th minute. Öxabäck's Christer Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Lundin in the 68th minute of play. Olle Hasselqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. David Mikaelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hönö BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
