Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Erik Lang in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Hasselqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th match minute, Hönö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Billock to maneuver through the defense. If Edmund Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Kristiansson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Olle Hasselqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hofors. Jim Valler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olle Hasselqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Kristiansson in the 34th minute of play forced Hönö BK's goalkeeper Olle Hasselqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Hönö BK's Olle Hasselqvist got control of the ball when Edmund Kristiansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Hofors defense, Ingvar Lundin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Näver. The Hofors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Näver should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hönö BK had won after a very even match.
