Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rikard Glanselius took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Nora IF's Stig-Åke Höijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Lång narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Stig-Åke Höijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ruda BF's zone, Marko Hedman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Lång came out of the goal and Marko Hedman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Morgan Klint managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruda BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Klint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Gummeson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arne Lång stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Åke Höijer's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Yngve Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Glanselius, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Ruda BF booed when Nora IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Lidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruda BF's goalkeeper Arne Lång, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Åke Höijer's late challenge caught a Ruda BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Åke Höijer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Stig-Åke Höijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marko Hedman in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arne Lång, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 37 minutes into the match, Ruda BF's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Höijer came free, but Arne Lång reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Åke Höijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Kjell Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Åke Höijer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ruda BF's Rikard Glanselius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yngve Gummeson. Yngve Gummeson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Arne Lång stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Åke Höijer's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Stig-Åke Höijer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Lång was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Ruda BF's Rikard Glanselius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Arne Lång took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Hedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Valdemar Giliusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Lång saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marko Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Höijer in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Lång saved Ruda BF from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Marko Hedman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arne Lång was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Ruda BF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rikard Glanselius hit a great ball. Stig-Åke Höijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Arne Lång tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Nora IF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
