When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Edward Vacker sped through IFK Uppsala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aron Stålman. In the 90th minute, Gösta Tinglöf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Säve BF's Edward Vacker got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, IFK Uppsala's Sture Martinsson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Säve BF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
