Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stefan Nordström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reine Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Barck in the 4th minute of play. Sturkö's Gert Haraldsson suffered a sore thigh after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krister Palmkvist during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Krister Palmkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes Fagervik FF got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Blom. Stefan Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Kvick having to interfere. Daniel Blom's late challenge caught a Sturkö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Blom helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fagervik FF's Daniel Blom got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Rudolf Kjellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Rudolf Kjellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagervik FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Kjellqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudolf Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Bergman having to interfere. Eddie Kvick had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Stefan Nordström from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Nordström couldn't finish the play. Sixten Spetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eddie Kvick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fagervik FF's goalkeeper Eddie Kvick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Martin Sigfridsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagervik FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Sigfridsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Sixten Spetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Nordström struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Eddie Kvick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sturkö. In the 57th minute, Rudolf Kjellqvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Stefan Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Sturkö's Jan Västlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Kvick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Kinell during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Fagervik FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sturkö:s goal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Sturkö. Folke Ahlberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eddie Kvick. 2-1. Krister Widberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Joseph Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sturkö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Rudolf Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Bergman having to interfere. Jan Västlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reine Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Barck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
