Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Alf Martinsson's late challenge caught a Fagervik FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Martinsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, 3XM's Alf Martinsson got a free kick in the 4th minute. 3XM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Rudolf Kjellqvist scored to the left of an out of position Stig-Arne Jonasson, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Fagervik FF's Vilgot Barck got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Manfred Pihlblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rudolf Kjellqvists short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Stig-Arne Jonasson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in 3XM's zone, Rudolf Kjellqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Arne Jonasson came out of the goal and Rudolf Kjellqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfred Pihlblad took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddie Kvick. Eddie Kvick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rudolf Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Jonasson having to interfere. In the 36th minute, 3XM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rudolf Kjellqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vilgot Barck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute of the match Kennet Olofsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Arne Jonasson skillfully saved the ball. Rudolf Kjellqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Stig-Arne Jonasson made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Ulf Fagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilgot Barck to strike the kick off in the second half. Vilgot Barck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 3XM's Stig-Arne Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Barck in the 56th minute of play. Vilgot Barck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig-Arne Jonasson having to make a save. Rudolf Kjellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Stig-Arne Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Pilblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Manfred Pihlblad came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the 3XM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Pihlblad couldn't finish the play. Rudolf Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfred Pihlblad might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddie Kvick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfred Pihlblad ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Fagervik FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 3XM:s goal. Jim Johansson charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Johansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Pilblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Kvick having to interfere. Stig-Arne Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Stig-Arne Jonasson came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Fagervik FF's Vilgot Barck. But to his dismay, Vilgot Barck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fagervik FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while 3XM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
