When Arman Håning fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köpingebro's protests and gave Arman Håning a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Köpingebro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Håning to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Henrik Pihlblad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joga Bonito FC's Rune Johnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Henrik Pihlblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Henrik Pihlblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arman Håning in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Johnsson saved Joga Bonito FC from getting behind. Billy Adelsköld came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Bonito FC's Adrian Tunander. But to his dismay, Adrian Tunander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Per-Åke Rudberg managed to, on his own, get straight through Köpingebro's defense and in the 33rd minute placed the ball to the left of Billy Adelsköld. 2-0. Rune Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Pihlblad in the 37th minute of play. Ingvar Strömberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rune Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Håning in the 46th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Joga Bonito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Köpingebro:s goal. In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for Köpingebro. George Bergman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rune Johnsson. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otto Bengtsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Henrik Pihlblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Tunander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Billy Adelsköld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Henrik Pihlblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köpingebro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Pihlblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito FC's Otto Bengtsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billy Adelsköld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rune Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Pihlblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Köpingebro's Henrik Pihlblad got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Adrian Tunander came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Joga Bonito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Tunander couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Köpingebro getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Simon Åkerberg hit a great ball. Joga Bonito FC's Per-Åke Rudberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Köpingebro. 87 minutes into the game, Ingvar Strömberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joga Bonito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köpingebro the free kick. After 87 played minutes Joga Bonito FC got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Strömberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Bengtsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Köpingebro's goalkeeper Billy Adelsköld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Köpingebro's Henrik Pihlblad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Johnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 99th minute, Adrian Tunander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Tunander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Adelsköld having to interfere. Köpingebro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
