Arman Håning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ingvar Forssell made a huge save. In the 10th match minute, Tollarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Wallander to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rune Lagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tollarp's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Lagerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Adelsköld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15thth minute of the game Rune Lagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köpingebro's Billy Adelsköld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Billy Adelsköld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Smedfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Henrik Pihlblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arman Håning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Adelsköld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Smedfeldt in the 26th minute of play. Billy Adelsköld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Smedfeldt's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Rune Lagerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Köpingebro's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Smedfeldt came free, but Billy Adelsköld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arman Håning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ingvar Forssell made a huge save. Henrik Pihlblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Pihlblad was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Tollarp got a freekick which was hit by Alex Grönberg. 60 minutes into the match, Arman Håning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Forssell. Tollarp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arman Håning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 63rd minute Alex Grönberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Adelsköld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Forssell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ingvar Forssell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Pihlblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Billy Adelsköld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Arman Håning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Köpingebro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tollarp the free kick. In the 76th minute, Arman Håning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Edvin Smedfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Billy Adelsköld made a huge save. Rune Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Adelsköld having to interfere. Simon Åkerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Åkerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
