Svante Grep received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patric Colin came out and tried to block the shot, but Svante Grep slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Vilgot Säv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesper Kilström went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ralf Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Colin having to interfere. Ralf Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Patric Colin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilgot Säv came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Valsjöbyn's Örjan Dalkvist. But to his dismay, Örjan Dalkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

57 minutes into the match, Valsjöbyn's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Levander came free, but Patric Colin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kilsmo IFK's Ralf Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernt Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kilsmo IFK's Vilgot Säv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Kilsmo IFK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Lindström in the 65th minute of play forced Valsjöbyn's goalkeeper Patric Colin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Valsjöbyn getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Isak Ek hit a great ball. If Ralf Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Bernt Levander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Ralf Lindström made a precise shot to the right of Patric Colin. Valsjöbyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Levander couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Ralf Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Colin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Ralf Lindström sped through Valsjöbyn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patric Colin.
