Peter Brogren came out of the goal and Knut Hansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Brogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uno Abelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Colin scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Brogren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Knut Hansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edwin Hägert's late challenge caught a Sämst i skåne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edwin Hägert helped the player get up and apologised. Sämst i skåne's Harry Mattsson was substituted for Uno Abelsson. After a rather tough play, Skillingsfors RK's Edwin Hägert got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Sämst i skåne's Harry Mattsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Brogren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Bjurström got free with Sune Odin in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, David Nyman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skillingsfors RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Colin in the 39th minute of play forced Skillingsfors RK's goalkeeper Peter Brogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute Harry Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Brogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Sämst i skåne's Harry Mattsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Brogren. Peter Brogren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Hansson in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Brogren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Skillingsfors RK's Peter Brogren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Skillingsfors RK from getting a goal against them. When Sämst i skåne's Knut Hansson in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
