Eric Nordal's late challenge caught a Vartofta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Nordal helped the player get up and apologised. If Patrick Lidström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute Agne Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Carlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agne Blom couldn't finish the play. Ted Carlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Helander to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Christian Helander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vartofta's Per-Oskar Mogren got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anfallet IK's Ted Carlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Blom in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Rune Torsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anfallet IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vartofta the free kick. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Anfallet IK! An unexpectedly hard shot by Agne Blom in the 76th minute of play forced Anfallet IK's goalkeeper Ted Carlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Vartofta's Per-Oskar Mogren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ted Carlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ted Carlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Marcus Fribäck notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Anfallet IK's Ted Carlberg. Ted Carlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pelle Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Per-Oskar Mogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Carlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anfallet IK's attentive Pelle Björklund managed to snatch the ball when Valter Lagerberg made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. The supporters of Vartofta booed when Anfallet IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Helander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ted Carlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Blom in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Per-Oskar Mogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Carlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agne Blom in the 96th minute of play forced Anfallet IK's goalkeeper Ted Carlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Anfallet IK's Pelle Björklund got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 99th minute, Agne Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Vartofta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
