The referee ignored Horred FF's protests and gave Stig-Arne Mickelsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Horred FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Mickelsson to maneuver through the defense. Paul Bergström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kalle Lundin. Horred FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven-Åke Rosin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Horred FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Horred FF's Oliver Hedberg in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye StjärtGossarnas IF's goalie prevented a goal. Kalle Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Nordal, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Karl-Magnus Stephansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Hedberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Åke Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Stephansson having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, StjärtGossarnas IF's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Hedberg came free, but Karl-Magnus Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Robin Kvalfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horred FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave StjärtGossarnas IF the free kick. After 48 played minutes Horred FF got a freekick which was hit by Robin Kvalfält. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Oliver Hedberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Magnus Stephansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Sven-Åke Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Stephansson having to interfere. Karl-Magnus Stephansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Hedberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Hedberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oliver Hedberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Åke Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Stephansson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sven-Åke Rosin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horred FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Åke Rosin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Magnus Stephansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Magnus Stephansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Hedberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Lundin having to interfere. Karl-Magnus Stephansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Rosin in the 92nd minute of the match. Karl-Magnus Stephansson came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Horred FF's Oliver Hedberg. But to his dismay, Oliver Hedberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sven-Åke Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
