Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eric Deckbergh got the match started through his kick off. Gilbert Asklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Deckbergh in the 3rd minute of play. Johan Vase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. David Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Deckbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Eklund having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Hökmossen AIF's goalkeeper David Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Vase. If Richard Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Alexander Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Dalby's Richard Svensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Eklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 27 minutes into the game, Johan Vase cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. David Eklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Eklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Richard Svensson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 30 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Vase got free with David Eklund in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, Hökmossen AIF's Alexander Lövkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Asklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Boris Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Asklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Lövkvist in the 45th minute of the match. Anders Söderström hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Svensson was the one to do the kick off. David Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Vase in the 55th minute of play. Alexander Lövkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute Eric Deckbergh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Asklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dalby booed when Hökmossen AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Lövkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, Dalby's Anders Söderström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Eklund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dalby reached it. Eric Deckbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Bergdal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dalby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hökmossen AIF the free kick. Jan-Ove Bergdal hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Deckbergh in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Asklund saved Dalby from getting behind. If Eric Deckbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Deckbergh struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Gilbert Asklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hökmossen AIF. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hökmossen AIF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
