In the 44th minute of the match Jonathan Sjöberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Forsberg skillfully saved the ball. Pär Lindblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Johan Vase might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Forsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johan Vase ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Alla Heter Glenn I GBG booed when Dalby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Melin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Alla Heter Glenn I GBG supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alla Heter Glenn I GBG would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
