After 2 played minutes Tvärred FF got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Nyberg. If Hannes Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kristian Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adam Groth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Groth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 24 minutes, Adam Groth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tvärred FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Groth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Groth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kristian Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristian Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Umeå FK's Felix Stolpe got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes, Bertil Ahlström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tvärred FF and the Umeå FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Umeå FK booed when Tvärred FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Ahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars Söderqwist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Brander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Bo Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ralf Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Tvärred FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Ahlström to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Johansson was the one to do the kick off. Lars Söderqwist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Fredriksson in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Umeå FK's goalkeeper Kristian Abrahamsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hannes Brander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Söderqwist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Hannes Brander was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lars Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Fredriksson in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Umeå FK's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Groth came free, but Kristian Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Adam Groth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Adam Groth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Abrahamsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hannes Brander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Söderqwist having to interfere. Robin Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lars Söderqwist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umeå FK. Adam Groth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Abrahamsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Johansson in the 91st minute of play forced Umeå FK's goalkeeper Kristian Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Kurt Nyberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Abrahamsson skillfully saved the ball. Bo Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tvärred FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
