The Torslanda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvin Strand should have stopped the shot. Adam Groth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alvin Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvin Strand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Johansson was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Bo Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tvärred FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Gösta Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tvärred FF's Adam Groth got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tvärred FF's Adam Groth got a free kick in the 66th minute. Adam Groth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alvin Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gösta Melander kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Kent Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torslanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tvärred FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
