Andy Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Eckegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Claes Pedersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sune Haraldsson skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Henrik Norberg put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Andy Bengtsson. After some careless play in the Furuvik defense, Henrik Norberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andy Bengtsson. The Furuvik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andy Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Furuvik's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Lindgren came free, but Andy Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Söderström's late challenge caught a Pilgrimstad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isak Söderström helped the player get up and apologised. Adam Lindgren succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. In the 65th minute Adam Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulf Lidman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andy Bengtsson. Furuvik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Pilgrimstad fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Pilgrimstad's Henrik Norberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 80th minute of the match Ulf Lidman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andy Bengtsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Claes Pedersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Furuvik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilgrimstad the free kick.
