Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dan Bergkvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. Helma IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lars-Erik Mikaelsson in the 6th minute. Charles Bredberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Högberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Sjö in the 16th minute of play forced Sköldsta Tigers's goalkeeper Tony Ahlkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Helma IF's goalkeeper Sven Högberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Bergkvist. When Charles Bredberg came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sköldsta Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Bredberg couldn't finish the play. Charles Bredberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sven Högberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Charles Bredberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sköldsta Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Bredberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Högberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the game, Charles Bredberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven Högberg. Charles Bredberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Charles Bredberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Helma IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Engström to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulrik Engström to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Charles Bredberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sköldsta Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Bredberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Högberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 55 played minutes Sköldsta Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Kuse. Jon Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tony Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Bredberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Högberg having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Sköldsta Tigers's Frans Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Högberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 67 minutes into the match, Helma IF's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Bredberg came free, but Sven Högberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Charles Bredberg made a precise shot to the right of Sven Högberg. Helma IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Helma IF's zone, Dan Bergkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Högberg came out of the goal and Dan Bergkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Bergkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Högberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Bergkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Bergkvist in the 78th minute of play forced Helma IF's goalkeeper Sven Högberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dan Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Helma IF's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Bredberg came free, but Sven Högberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sköldsta Tigers booed when Helma IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Bredberg struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sven Högberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sköldsta Tigers. When Charles Bredberg came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sköldsta Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Bredberg couldn't finish the play. Sköldsta Tigers had played much better football throughout.
