Jan-Ove Vikström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Sjöström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Casper Bank made a huge save. Casper Bank stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Blixt's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Jan-Ove Vikström fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västkusten 89ers's protests and gave Jan-Ove Vikström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Västkusten 89ers getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jan-Ove Vikström hit a great ball. Malcolm Sjöström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Casper Bank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Bank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Blixt in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Västkusten 89ers's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Blixt came free, but Casper Bank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Gunnarn RK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
