Gunnar Westerberg was a little too slow when Dan Bäckman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Vargön's zone, Kenneth Hjortsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Westerberg came out of the goal and Kenneth Hjortsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, Vargön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Kruse to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 56 minutes, Kenneth Hjortsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Oves Hjältar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Hjortsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulrik Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malte Stigsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulrik Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Malte Stigsson was a little too slow when Urban Bäcklin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-1. If Kenneth Hjortsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BK Oves Hjältar's Malte Stigsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save BK Oves Hjältar from getting a goal against them. John Mogren hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Ulrik Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Urban Bäcklin rounded BK Oves Hjältar's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Gunnar Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Bäckman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The BK Oves Hjältar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vargön's performance. The match ended with a win for Vargön.
