Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hampus Biörkquist started the match with the kick off. Henric Vennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Hultin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Granö BK's zone, Henric Vennersten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Hultin came out of the goal and Henric Vennersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Henric Vennersten got free in front of the goal in the 8th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jan-Ove Hultin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Edmund Siggman charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Siggman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Granö BK got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Siggman. Backyard Kickers's Rolf Strandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Granö BK's Carl Zander got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jan-Ove Hultin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Vennersten in the 18th minute of play. Henric Vennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Hultin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henric Vennersten in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Ove Hultin saved Granö BK from getting behind. Jan-Ove Hultin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Haström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Biörkquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Henric Vennersten made the kick off in the second half. Rolf Strandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Hultin having to interfere. Roy Bammerman kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Olof Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Biörkquist in the 60th minute of the match. Stig-Åke Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Hampus Biörkquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olof Haström. Backyard Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hampus Biörkquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee gave Granö BK a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kjell Jonasson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Backyard Kickers's Olof Haström. 3-0. Hampus Biörkquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes, Jan-Ove Löfgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Backyard Kickers and the Granö BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Backyard Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes, Hampus Biörkquist made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Backyard Kickers's Olof Haström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hampus Biörkquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olof Haström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hampus Biörkquist ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolf Strandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolf Strandberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Jan-Ove Hultin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 87 minutes into the match, Kenny Esbjörnsson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Backyard Kickers's Olof Haström. Olof Haström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 played minutes Granö BK got a freekick which was hit by Carl Zander. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Granö BK had won after a very even match.
