Spectators: 7391 (Terracing: 5545, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viggo Bremming started the match with the kick off. Hanaskog were furious when Valdemar Jelm was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 3rd minute, one of Hanaskog:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hanaskog. Gottfrid Hasselqvist shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Markus Wästerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Hasselqvist in the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Ekström during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Frank Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Hanaskog's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfrid Hasselqvist came free, but Markus Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hanaskog booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Kollberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sigvard Stålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Wästerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Kollberg in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Unesson to maneuver through the defense. Martin Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Wennerquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Gottfrid Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Markus Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Kollberg struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Markus Wästerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 56th minute Thomas Kollberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Wästerberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gottfrid Hasselqvist went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hanaskog's Markus Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Walmarsson in the 62nd minute of play. Frank Ekström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ahlbeck to maneuver through the defense. Allan Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Sigvard Stålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Liverpool FC's Ragnar Walmarsson in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hanaskog's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute, Hanaskog's Frank Ekström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Evert Westerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Martin Martinsson made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Thomas Kollberg notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hanaskog's Markus Wästerberg. Markus Wästerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's Gottfrid Hasselqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Wästerberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Thomas Kollberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gottfrid Hasselqvist came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfrid Hasselqvist couldn't finish the play. Many of Hanaskog's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hanaskog may have spent more time on the ball, but Liverpool FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
