In the 20th minute, Nils-Emil Hammarström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Stefan Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaxmora FK. With a little luck, Vaxmora FK's Eric Vesterberg got control of the ball when Nils-Emil Hammarström tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jonas Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Åke Grep hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 47th minute when Svante Felin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Saltsjöbaden FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vaxmora FK were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Brian Mårtensson made the kick off in the second half. Stefan Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Peter Almkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Pettersson having to interfere. Saltsjöbaden FK's Stefan Pettersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Saltsjöbaden FK from getting a goal against them. Svante Felin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Saltsjöbaden FK's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Mårtensson came free, but Stefan Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Vesterberg having to interfere. Saltsjöbaden FK's Stefan Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Mårtensson in the 84th minute of play. Peter Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Pettersson having to interfere. Svante Felin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Vesterberg having to interfere. The Saltsjöbaden FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vaxmora FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Vaxmora FK.
