Daniel Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Beck in the 19th minute of the match. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Santiano's goalkeeper Anton Zachrisson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Forsell to make the kick off. Claes Hasselqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Sefastsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claes Hasselqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Mark Mellberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Sefastsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. If Axel Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Hasselqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Axel Ahlbom struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Anton Zachrisson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rothoffs FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Santiano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
