Per-Oskar Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Mellberg in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Birger Askberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to IFK Södra Guldheden getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rune Brask hit a great ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Adam Landin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Santiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Landin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute of the match, Claes Hasselqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Per-Oskar Sandström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Håkan Beck's late challenge caught a IFK Södra Guldheden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkan Beck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, FC Santiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Beck to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Casper Vallman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Södra Guldheden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Algot Carlsson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. FC Santiano's Anton Zachrisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Eriksson in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Casper Vallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Södra Guldheden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Vallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fritz Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes FC Santiano got a freekick which was hit by Ted Tidéksson. In the 38th minute, Niclas Johnsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Santiano's Anton Zachrisson didn't even have to move. After having played for 41 minutes, Fritz Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Södra Guldheden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fritz Eriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Zachrisson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fritz Eriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fritz Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the IFK Södra Guldheden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Eriksson couldn't finish the play. After the first half IFK Södra Guldheden were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Mellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mark Mellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Claes Hasselqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Santiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Hasselqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Oskar Sandström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claes Hasselqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Zachrisson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Vallman in the 59th minute of the match. Fritz Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Anton Zachrisson made a huge save. FC Santiano's Anton Zachrisson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FC Santiano from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Casper Vallman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anton Zachrisson, 0-2. Claes Hasselqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Oskar Sandström having to interfere. A collision led to FC Santiano getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Håkan Beck hit a great ball. Claes Hasselqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Per-Oskar Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fritz Eriksson struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Anton Zachrisson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Södra Guldheden. FC Santiano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Casper Vallman 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The FC Santiano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching IFK Södra Guldheden's performance. The match ended with a win for IFK Södra Guldheden.
