Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kjell Ekman got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattias Kihlman during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mattias Kihlman hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Algot Häll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blentarp's goalkeeper Leo Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Peter Ståhlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Bäckström was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Blentarp's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Häll came free, but Leo Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Peter Ståhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Falkrantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Ekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blentarp's Leo Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Häll in the 27th minute of play. Leo Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Ståhlberg in the 28th minute of play. Mattias Kihlman hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. David Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Ekman in the 36th minute of the match. If Peter Ståhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfons Hedbom's late challenge caught a Brickebackens SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfons Hedbom helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Blentarp got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Hedbom. Leo Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Häll in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Algot Häll to strike the kick off in the second half. Mattias Kihlman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Allan Dahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blentarp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Dahlqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Ståhlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Leo Bäckström made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Brickebackens SK's Mikael Clementsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Bäckström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 66th minute of the match Alfons Hedbom completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alfons Hedbom a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 67 played minutes Blentarp got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Hedbom. A collision led to Blentarp getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hans Tham hit a great ball. Holger Hagberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Bäckström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Holger Hagberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Ståhlberg in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leo Bäckström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. David Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Dahlqvist in the 81st minute of play. When Hans Tham came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Blentarp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Tham couldn't finish the play. Allan Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Falkrantz having to interfere. Leo Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Ståhlberg in the 85th minute. Algot Häll might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Bäckström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Algot Häll ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Bäckström made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Peter Ståhlberg sent off a good shot on target.
