Spectators: 7178 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Isak Berggren took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Aron Broberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Bäckström. Blentarp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Broberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Melings ILF's Aron Broberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 16th minute Kjell Ekman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Ekman in the 18th minute of play. Roger Kellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Hans Tham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blentarp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melings ILF the free kick. The supporters of Melings ILF booed when Blentarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Tham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Broberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Bäckström having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Isak Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melings ILF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isak Berggren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kjell Ekman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Allan Dahlqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melings ILF's goalkeeper Tobias Billberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Allan Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Billberg having to interfere. In the 47th minute Kjell Ekman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Ekman was the one to do the kick off. When Harry Melin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melings ILF's protests and gave Harry Melin a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Melings ILF! Aron Broberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leo Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Kjell Ekman took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Tobias Billberg to make any attempt to save it. 67 minutes into the match, Melings ILF's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Ekman came free, but Tobias Billberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Melings ILF's goalkeeper Tobias Billberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Dahlqvist. Allan Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Billberg having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Allan Dahlqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Billberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Blentarp's Leo Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Broberg in the 81st minute of play. Tobias Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Ekman in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Isak Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
