The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Dahlqvist got free with Jan Vallengren in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Dahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jan Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Allan Dahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blentarp's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Dahlqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Vallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Blentarp getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hans Tham hit a great ball. Jan Vallengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Ekman's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Gustav Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Jan Vallengren came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Blentarp's Kjell Ekman. But to his dismay, Kjell Ekman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kjell Ekman succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Leo Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Wennerström in the 66th minute of play. Ludwig Springfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Blentarp's Allan Dahlqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Filip Adelsköld from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Leo Bäckström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 73rd minute, Georg Melin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Brian Odén shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Vallengren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leo Bäckström made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ludwig Springfält sent off a good shot on target. Gustav Wennerström in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leo Bäckström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. AC MILAN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
