The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Torsten Ahlroth's late challenge caught a Edsele IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KRAKOV FC. In the 16th match minute, Edsele IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Molin to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Magne Vik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christopher Kolberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Forssell in the 24th minute of play. If Douglas Sjöman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Edsele IK's Douglas Sjöman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Åke Larsfelt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ralf Wester tried in the game's 41st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Stig-Åke Larsfelt. An annoying self made goal, 3-0. 45 minutes into the game, Evert Bruse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edsele IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KRAKOV FC the free kick. The supporters of KRAKOV FC booed when Edsele IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Bruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Karl-Åke Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Karl-Åke Forssell made the kick off in the second half. Magne Vik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Douglas Sjöman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Larsfelt having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Edsele IK's Martin Arvidsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Åke Larsfelt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Martin Arvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edsele IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Edsele IK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
