Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars Haegg started the match with the kick off. Hjalmar Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Granström, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Benjamin Svensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Albom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th minute Johannes Granström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Sala IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Haegg came free, but Benjamin Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Haegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Hellström having to interfere. Roland Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Sala IF's Benjamin Svensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hjalmar Albom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hjalmar Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Granström in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Benjamin Svensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Albom. Djursholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Svensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Benjamin Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Haegg in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Harry Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sala IF and the Djursholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Haegg in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes of play, Sala IF's Benjamin Svensson made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hjalmar Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Benjamin Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Sala IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Haegg came free, but Benjamin Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Benjamin Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Djursholm defense, Tomas Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Albom. The Djursholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Albom should have stopped the shot. Hjalmar Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Söderberg in the 47th minute of play. The Djursholm players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sala IF were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Svensson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Beck in the 53rd minute of play forced Djursholm's goalkeeper Hjalmar Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hjalmar Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Tomas Söderberg notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Djursholm's Hjalmar Albom. Hjalmar Albom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hjalmar Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Svensson in the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Lars Haegg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djursholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Haegg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Söderberg got free with Hjalmar Albom in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Djursholm's Hjalmar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Svensson in the 74th minute of play. Tomas Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Hjalmar Albom made a huge save. After 81 played minutes Djursholm got a freekick which was hit by Melker Axelsson. In the 82nd minute of the match Leonard Öfverman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hjalmar Albom skillfully saved the ball. Djursholm's Hjalmar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Granström in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Söderberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Hjalmar Albom however easily saved by the left post. Melker Axelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melker Axelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benjamin Svensson struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Hjalmar Albom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sala IF. In the 89th minute, Johannes Granström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Albom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 93 minutes into the match, Djursholm's goalkeeper Hjalmar Albom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Söderberg. 96 minutes into the match, Djursholm's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Svensson came free, but Hjalmar Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Djursholm fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sala IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
