The audience was convinced that Bengt-Rune Christoffersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Åhman was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Bengt-Rune Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Åhman having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Staffan Nordgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Rune Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Runberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Claes Åhman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Öje RK's goalkeeper Claes Åhman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Bengt-Rune Christoffersson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Bengt-Rune Christoffersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Öje RK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Långt på Lasse's Bengt-Rune Christoffersson in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Öje RK's goalie prevented a goal. If Felix Runberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paul Carlsson fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Öje RK's protests and gave Paul Carlsson a yellow card for diving instead. Paul Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Runberg in the 61st minute of play forced Öje RK's goalkeeper Claes Åhman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Åhman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Runberg in the 66th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rikard Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Robert Almkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Runberg in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Åhman saved Öje RK from getting behind. When Rasmus Karlberg fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Öje RK's protests and gave Rasmus Karlberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute of the match Robin Ersman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Åhman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Felix Runberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Claes Åhman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Rikard Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Staffan Nordgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Ivarsson. Långt på Lasse's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Staffan Nordgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Claes Åhman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Rune Christoffersson went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Långt på Lasse were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
