Harry Jansson shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Valdemar Collin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dick Stålman having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, FC Krantz's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Collin came free, but Dick Stålman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Nils-Emil Sjögren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonatan Biörk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Krantz's Dick Stålman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Collin in the 27th minute of play. If Ingvar Nordlander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Fribäck got free with Jonatan Biörk in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonatan Biörk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Sjögren in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Ian Fribäck fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonatan Biörk, passed just outside the right post. Jonatan Biörk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Collin made a kick off. Nils-Emil Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ingvar Nordlander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Ivar Bock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Krantz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Syrianska UltraZ the free kick. In the 61st minute, Ivar Bock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Krantz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mikael Alebeck was slow to take the kick. During this time Syrianska UltraZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Syrianska UltraZ's Mikael Alebeck to fire away a dangerous shot which Dick Stålman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Syrianska UltraZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Stenberg to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Stenqvist's late challenge caught a FC Krantz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Staffan Stenqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Staffan Stenqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. FC Krantz's Harry Jansson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Syrianska UltraZ. Nils-Emil Sjögren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Biörk having to make a save. In the 78th match minute, Syrianska UltraZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Stenqvist to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Biörk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Fribäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ingvar Nordlander struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dick Stålman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syrianska UltraZ. Jonatan Biörk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Fribäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ingvar Nordlander, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dick Stålman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Syrianska UltraZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
