Dick Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Bern in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Lennart Hägert could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Dick Stålman however easily saved by the left post. In the 18th minute, Klövedal's Sture Bern ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dick Stålman. Dick Stålman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Ivar Bock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Krantz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klövedal the free kick. The supporters of Klövedal booed when FC Krantz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Bock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dick Stålman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Bern, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee showed Bernt Pååk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sture Bern made a kick off. Nils-Emil Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Nils-Emil Sjögren took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jan-Olof Kilstedt to make any attempt to save it.
