The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucas Bergdal charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Bergdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Lucas Bergdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uno Bohlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uno Bohlin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Michael Svensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mean Machines. In the 19th minute, Kåre Fredriksson made a precise shot to the right of Michael Svensson. Möja FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Möja FF's Michael Svensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Möja FF from getting a goal against them. Uno Bohlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Svensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Alf Pilblad's late challenge caught a Möja FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Pilblad helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Mean Machines got a freekick which was hit by Alf Pilblad. When Helge Bållström fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mean Machines's protests and gave Helge Bållström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mean Machines getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Helge Bållström hit a great ball. After 41 minutes Mean Machines's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrik Åkesson who took care of the corner kick. Arvid Classon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Lagerberg in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Lagerberg in the 45th minute of play forced Mean Machines's goalkeeper Arvid Classon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kåre Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Lagerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arvid Classon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Lagerberg in the 57th minute of play. Kim Forssell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Classon having to interfere. Helge Bållström kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Möja FF booed when Mean Machines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Bållström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Forssell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Arvid Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Mean Machines's goalkeeper Arvid Classon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Forssell. After a defensive mix-up in Mean Machines's zone, Frank Lagerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvid Classon came out of the goal and Frank Lagerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kim Forssell struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Arvid Classon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Möja FF. 80 minutes into the match, Mean Machines's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Lagerberg came free, but Arvid Classon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvid Classon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Lagerberg's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Möja FF's Frank Lagerberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arvid Classon. That made the score 1-1 after 87 minutes of play. If Kim Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 101 minutes into the match, Möja FF's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Bohlin came free, but Michael Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
