Bengt-Arne Mossberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Nyman in the 16th minute of the match. Morjärv IK's Lars Fors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmie Jansson in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Morjärv IK's goalkeeper Lars Fors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conny Strömberg. A collision led to Morjärv IK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Herbert Delin hit a great ball. If Jimmie Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmie Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Fors having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Jimmie Jansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lars Fors. Jimmie Jansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimmie Jansson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. Svensbyn FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morjärv IK the free kick. In the 43rd minute, one of Svensbyn FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Svensbyn FK. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Morjärv IK. Ted Stenberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bengt-Arne Mossberg. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimmie Jansson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jimmie Jansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmie Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Fors having to interfere. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Morjärv IK's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Strömberg came free, but Lars Fors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Svensbyn FK's Conny Strömberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Fors was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Eric Nyman came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Morjärv IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Nyman couldn't finish the play. Lars Fors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimmie Jansson's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Morjärv IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Delin to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Jimmie Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Fors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jimmie Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Fors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conny Strömberg's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Jimmie Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Fors was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th match minute, Morjärv IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Lööf to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Jimmie Jansson notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Morjärv IK's Lars Fors. Lars Fors was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Eric Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute.
