Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 10) Oviken IF's Olof Eliasson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Agne Strömqvist came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Anneberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agne Strömqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oviken IF's goalkeeper Holger Sander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lennart Björklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jan Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nils Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anneberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Melander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Sander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elof Vase kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jan Tunander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olof Eliasson went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jan Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Ahlberg in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st play minute Agne Strömqvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Holger Sander. 2-1. After 45 played minutes Anneberg got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Svartengren. Jarl Sandwall, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nils Melander made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Nils Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Sander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Olof Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Agne Strömqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Sander was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Tony Gummeson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Eliasson in the 78th minute of the match. Agne Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Holger Sander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oviken IF's Olof Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Tony Gummeson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Jarl Sandwall sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Anneberg's Jan Tunander didn't even have to move. When the referee blew the final whistle, Anneberg could leave the field as winners, despite Oviken IF having more of the ball for most of the match.
