The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Allan Tomasson came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Stegeborgs IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Tomasson couldn't finish the play. Pontus Åström hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ludvig Lindgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allan Tomasson went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Allan Tomasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ludvig Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludvig Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Tomasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Hubert Sjö hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Odman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Reine Colin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Hult BK's Elliot Ahlroth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Gustafsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Allan Tomasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludvig Lindgren having to make a save. Ingvar Lindholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludvig Lindgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Lindholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Pontus Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Erik Holm charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Erik Holm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ingvar Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Stegeborgs IF's Per Björklund got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Stegeborgs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Ahlroth came free, but Björn Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Gustafsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reine Colin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Reine Colin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Björn Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Colin in the 61st minute of play forced Stegeborgs IF's goalkeeper Björn Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hult BK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Per-Erik Holm hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Allan Tomasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stegeborgs IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Tomasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingvar Lindholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludvig Lindgren having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Tomasson in the 72nd minute of play forced Hult BK's goalkeeper Ludvig Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Colin in the 73rd minute of play. Reine Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stegeborgs IF's Björn Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Ahlroth in the 85th minute of play. When Pontus Lindström fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stegeborgs IF's protests and gave Pontus Lindström a yellow card for diving instead. Pontus Lindström hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Hult BK's Ludvig Lindgren got control of the ball when Ingvar Lindholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allan Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Stegeborgs IF booed when Hult BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
