Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tobias Siöman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alexander Linberg hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Åmål was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Melander to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Marcus Dahlquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eskilstuna Elite's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Dahlquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Gummeson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Marcus Dahlquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marcus Dahlquist came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Eskilstuna Elite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Dahlquist couldn't finish the play. After having played for 33 minutes, Marcus Dahlquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eskilstuna Elite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Dahlquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, Eskilstuna Elite's Marcus Dahlquist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Gummeson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes in the game, Georg Viberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Andréas Falck having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 55th play minute Marcus Dahlquist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joel Gummeson. 0-3. Tobias Siöman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Joel Gummeson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joakim Blomquist during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Åmål booed when Eskilstuna Elite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Högberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georg Viberg scored 1-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andréas Falck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Eskilstuna Elite's Joel Gummeson threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobias Siöman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joel Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Siöman in the 85th minute of play. Georg Viberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Åmål's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Siöman came free, but Joel Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Dahlquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Gummeson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play.
