After a rather tough play, FC Bjerred's Börje Blomquist got a free kick in the 18th minute. FC Bjerred's Christian Nyman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Bjerred from getting a goal against them. Andréas Falck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredric Hellström's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Andréas Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hellström in the 27th minute of play. FC Bjerred's Christian Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Siöman in the 28th minute of play. Christian Nyman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Dahlquist in the 33rd minute. If Marcus Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Hellström in the 38th minute of play forced Eskilstuna Elite's goalkeeper Andréas Falck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Dahlquist in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Nyman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andréas Falck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Hellström, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Linberg during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Eskilstuna Elite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Linberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Bjerred booed when Eskilstuna Elite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Wahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Siöman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Håkan Säv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Falck having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bjerred's zone, Marcus Dahlquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Nyman came out of the goal and Marcus Dahlquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes FC Bjerred got a freekick which was hit by Åke Mellberg. Tobias Siöman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Nyman having to interfere. Alfred Eklund kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tobias Siöman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Nyman was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Fredric Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Andréas Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andréas Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Siggman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Sverker Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Falck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Hellström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andréas Falck having to make a save. Håkan Säv kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Arvid Vennerkvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Christian Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Dahlquist in the 87th minute of the match. Fredric Hellström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Andréas Falck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Sverker Siggman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andréas Falck. That made the score 0-1 in the 91 minute of play. Sverker Siggman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Andréas Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Bjerred supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bjerred would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
