In the 2nd match minute, FKBESA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Hedbom to maneuver through the defense. Johan Säf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Eckegren in the 5th minute of the match. FKBESA's Johan Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmie Lustig in the 6th minute of play. Valentin Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Lång, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Claes Hedbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claes Hedbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Modig having to interfere. Vilgot Lång's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Modig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Ulf Arhenius hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Fredric Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Säf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Lång in the 24th minute of play. Jimmie Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åke Arenius charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Arenius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes FKBESA got a freekick which was hit by Åke Arenius. Jimmie Lustig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Johan Säf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, FKBESA's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Eckegren came free, but Johan Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Marklarians fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Marklarians's Fredric Eckegren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Charles Lind hit a great ball. During the 62nd minute of the match Ulf Arhenius completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ulf Arhenius a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Valentin Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Lång in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Vilgot Lång managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FKBESA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Lång was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jimmie Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Hedbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Marklarians's zone, Vilgot Lång stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Modig came out of the goal and Vilgot Lång tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Vilgot Lång got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Marklarians's Fredric Eckegren got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Vilgot Lång had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although FKBESA had been in control for most of the match, Marklarians still came away with the win.
