Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olof Melberg started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Stabbe's late challenge caught a Loke FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Stabbe helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Helsingborg Stad FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loke FC's goalkeeper Allan Landin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Loke FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gustaf Stålberg hit a great ball. Loke FC's Allan Landin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Loke FC from getting a goal against them. Jimmy Hökkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Olsson went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Olof Melberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmy Hökkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olof Melberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Ola Olsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jimmy Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Helsingborg Stad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Rosén to maneuver through the defense. Måns Rosén hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jimmy Hökkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Melberg in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Ingvar Termander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olof Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Hökkvist having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Peter Adelsköld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Helsingborg Stad FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loke FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Helsingborg Stad FC's Peter Adelsköld got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Helsingborg Stad FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Loke FC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Telin made a kick off. Allan Landin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Termander, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jimmy Hökkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Melberg in the 55th minute of the match. Ola Olsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jimmy Hökkvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 58 played minutes Helsingborg Stad FC got a freekick which was hit by Sten Biörling. If Olof Melberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Biörling charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sten Biörling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Helsingborg Stad FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sten Biörling hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Olof Melberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Helsingborg Stad FC's zone, Olof Melberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Hökkvist came out of the goal and Olof Melberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Loke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Telin came free, but Allan Landin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Helsingborg Stad FC's Måns Rosén got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jimmy Hökkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ola Olsson in the 84th minute. Loke FC's Allan Landin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Rosén in the 90th minute of play. Olof Melberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loke FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
